Membrane structure drainage has always been a concern for everyone. First of all, we must understand the cause of water accumulation in the membrane structure carport. As a membrane structure carport, it is more sensitive to vertical loads. In particular, a membrane structure carport using a flat membrane is most susceptible to water accumulation. When stagnant water occurs, we must find a way to carry out drainage treatment.
Then let's look at it from several aspects.



First of all, when designing, the reasonable height difference should be set according to the local natural conditions and the span of the carport to ensure a certain slope of the membrane surface, so that the rainwater can be smoothly removed.
Secondly, for areas with a lot of precipitation, when designing the membrane structure carport, try not to use the flat membrane form, and Y-shaped, hat-topped shapes can be used.



Then, the membrane must be stretched in place during the construction. After the construction is completed, the membrane surface should be prestressed to ensure that the membrane surface prestress meets the design requirements.
Finally, after long-term use of the membrane structure carport, the membrane surface should be inspected. If slack occurs, a second tension should be performed to ensure that the membrane surface has a certain degree of prestress.



In addition, we will introduce the drainage methods commonly used in membrane structure carports.
1. Groove drainage pipes, which are generally erected on the beams of the carport in the form of grooves. In order to ensure the aesthetics of the shape, an embedded design is generally used. This method should pay attention to the direction of flow during laying. And height, regularly check whether debris is blocking the passage.
2. Reserve drainage holes. This method is to make a drainage hole at the lower end of the membrane surface of the membrane structure carport, and rainwater is discharged through the drainage hole. This method must pay attention to the location of the reserved drainage hole must be reasonable, otherwise it will cause drainage failure. Water accumulated.
3. Counter-flow drainage system. This method is to install a counter-wind flow system at key locations of the membrane structure carport, so as to draw rainwater into the drainage tank and discharge it to the ground. Compared with the above two methods, the drainage efficiency is the highest.
